I’m Harriet, I’m 26 and I live and work in London. My family live in south Devon which is where I love to get away to during my time off to relax.
When I’m in London, I love to explore new areas and make the most of my weekends – sussing out cool cafes and bars, parks, markets, food places etc! I love being busy but also finding places to relax in the city of a weekend.
Devon is a magical place for those who know it and I am very lucky to be able to call it home. We live on the south coast, in an area surrounded by stunning sandy beaches and amazing views!
During my gap year after I finished school I travelled to Australia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Bali. Since discovering my passion for travel I have made sure to get away and do a bit of back-packing whenever possible although it is harder now I am working. More recently I have been to the Philippines and the Yucatan in Mexico which have been some of my best adventures to date!
Part of what I love about travelling is the researching and planning that goes into it. When I have organised my trips in the past, I have used other people’s blogs, Instagram, Pinterest, websites and books to plan making sure I visit all the best places and find the hidden gems away from the tourist trail.
